ADS Seek Answers at Parliament
On Tue 9th July ADS hosted a high profile event at Westminster. The event, chaired by the Rt Hon. Andy Burnham MP was a ‘Question Time’ style discussion on the topical issue of ‘Addiction to Prescription Drugs’ and consisted of a panel of clinicians, service users and experts in their respective fields who have direct experience of addiction to prescription drugs and treatment services.
The event was a great success, with loads of positive feedback and wide interest been shown in the issue and the addiction to prescription drug services ADS provide. This is a very exciting time for us as it is hoped that the event will act as a springboard to additional benzo and other prescription/over the counter drug services being developed.
