New drinking guidelines

Today the Department of Health released new guidelines surrounding the consumption of alcohol. ADS welcome these new alcohol guidelines as we know only too well the dangers and effects of alcohol misuse on individuals, families and communities and the NHS.  Recommending safe guidelines gives the public the opportunity to know the risks associated with drinking alcohol and make an informed choice about how much alcohol they consume.

ADS encourage responsible drinking and adhering to recommended limits and guidelines to achieve a healthy relationship with alcohol.  We encourage anyone who feels they may be struggling with the negative effects of alcohol, or if they are worried about friends or family members relationship with alcohol to get in contact with our services and see how we can help.
